VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR SINGAPORE CITIZENS TRAVELING TO PERU
AS TOURIST NO VISA REQUIRED PASSPORT WITH MINIMUM 6 MONTHS VALIDITY from date of entry UP TO 183 DAYS 
FOR BUSINESS VISA REQUIRED PASSPORT WITH MINIMUM 6 MONTHS VALIDTY from date of entry MAXIMUM 183 DAYS
 

Tourist Visa

 


Singapore nationals  DO NOT  require a Tourist Visa when travelling as tourists to Peru They are allowed to stay in the country up to 183 days.



Nationals of countries that require a Tourist Visa must obtain it from the Peruvian Consular Section in person. (Scroll down for list of countries)



Nationals from countries that need a Visa to travel to Peru and who are not residents in Singapore need to apply for visa in their respective countries in a designated country where there is a consulate  or Embassy of Peru: Myanmar and Philippine passport holders - apply in Thailand; Pakistan passport holders - apply in China, Nepal, Sri-Lankan & Vietnam passport holders - apply in India, Iranian passport holders - apply in Egypt;

  
Requirements ( for Tourist visa applicants)

 
Valid passport  (at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Peru)
One (1) Visa Application Form fully filled in and signed download application form
One (1) colour photograph (passport size, white backside )
Return ticket or reservation stating dates of arrival and departure to and from Peru.
A fee of US$30.00 equivalent in S$ (Cash payment only)
Proof of solvency (last 2 months bank statement)



If you are a student, please provide a letter from your school confirming your studies. If you are working, please provide a letter from your employer confirming your employment status. Please make sure that the letter includes your full name and passport number.
 

Business Visa

 
Nationals of all countries require a Business Visa.
Business Visa holders can remain in Peru for up to 183 days.
 

Requirements (for business visa applicants)

 
Valid passport  (at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Peru).
One (1) Visa Application Form fully filled in and signed download application form
One (1) colour photograph (passport size, white backside ).
Return ticket or reservation stating dates of arrival and departure to and from Peru.
A fee of US$30.00 in S$ equivalent (Cash payment only)
Hotel reservation in Peru.
Your company letter of guarantee
If your trip is related to Peruvian counterpart, a letter from such Peruvian company.
 

Requirements  (for Student Visa applicants)

 
Valid passport  (at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Peru)
One (1) Visa Application Form fully filled in and signed download application form
One (1) colour photograph (passport size, white background)


Letter from your university or educational institution in Peru, where the applicant has been accepted, indicating the motive and the time of your stay.
A fee of US$15.00 in $ equivalent. (Cash payment only)


Student visas may be renewed at the Oficina de Migraciones once the student has enrolled in a Peruvian school.
 

Requirements  (for Journalist Visa applicants)

 


Peruvian consulates issue press visas to journalists travelling to Peru in official trip.
The journalist must provide:






  • Letter from the media company (print, radio, TV or Internet), explaining the purpose of the trip.
  • Letter giving a detailed description of the equipment intended to be transported in a temporary basis to Peru.
  • A valid passport with at least a year of duration.
  • Copy of the Press ID, two passport colour pictures with white background.
Valid passport  (at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Peru).
One (1) Visa Application Form fully filled in and signed download application form
One (1) colour photograph (passport size, white backside ).
Return ticket or reservation stating dates of arrival and departure to and from Peru.
A fee of US$30.00 in S$ equivalent. (Cash payment only)
 

Requirements

 

Processing time for visa application: 4-5 working days.
For nationals who need prior approval from Lima:  3 -4 weeks

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TRAVELER TO OBTAIN VISAS, WHERE REQUIRED, FROM THE NEAREST CONSULATE. As soon as you receive your visa, check it to make sure no mistakes were made.
 

Additional Fees

 
Peru has departure fees that are sometimes collected at the time of ticket purchase or upon exiting the country.
